Wine crawls
Pick a part of town, a colour, a grape or any wine, and how many stops. We find places close together that pour it by the glass, put them in a short walking order and say which glass to try at each, with the sun out front when you'd get there.

How the crawls work
A place counts for a colour, a grape or a style when its own list has a glass of it with a price; wine bars count for any wine even when their list isn't online. Restaurants count too, but the planner leans to bars: a restaurant counts as 400 m further away, so it joins a crawl only where bars are scarce, marked "check they'll serve a drink on its own". The planner tries every place as a starting point, adds the nearest ones that pour what you chose, then walks them in the shortest order. Walking distances follow the streets, paths and steps on OpenStreetMap, at an easy 4.5 km an hour, allowing 45 minutes at each stop; two places with water between them count as too far. Lists were read in October 2026: they change, so ask at the bar.
The glass to try is the house wine where the list names one, else the cheapest glass of what you chose. We don't hold opening times, so check before you set off. A 175ml glass is a quarter of a bottle: ask for 125ml, and drink water between stops. Drinkaware has more.
